Street Portraits
These are a few portraits of the people who are indigenous to the downtown area of Gloucester, what is left of the working part of the city. What I consider a portrait is a photograph that shows a dialog between the subject and the photographer; documenting aspects of the person’s character that may reveal a glimpse of what they are essentially like as people. These are all taken on the fly, so to speak and usually with only one or two frames exposed.
